Jeanette Emma Bye
Miss Rodeo Nevada 2007
| Jeanette is the 23 year old daughter of Bruce and Jean
Bye from Reno, Nevada. She is a sixth generation native Nevadan and is
currently a senior at the University of Nevada Reno with plans to graduate
with dual degrees in Nutrition and Spanish. Jeanette's hobbies include
horse showing, camping, hiking, water sports and mountain biking.
Jeanette has been actively involved in 4-H, Future Farmers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, Girl Scouts and the Reno Rodeo Association. She also enjoys volunteering at the Marvin Piccollo Therapeutic Riding Center. Jeanette has plans to go to Graduate School to become a registered dietitian so that she can work with mothers and infants and improve early life nutrition.
Jeanette wants to be Miss Rodeo Nevada because rodeo is an American sport that teaches values such as integrity, respect and hard work - which are the same values that she was raised with. As Miss Rodeo Nevada, Jeanette would educate the public and create awareness for the sport, its sponsors and its opportunities. |
