Selena Loueve Ulch

You can take the girl out of the country but you can never take the country out of the girl.  My name is Selena Loueve Ulch and I moved to the Biggest Little City of Reno from Susanville, California where my family owned and operated a fourth generation cattle ranch.  My six sisters and I are some of the toughest cowgirls in the West because we had no brothers to help with chores.  I enjoy ballet and jazz dancing, public speaking, community service, gold mining, outdoor sports and above all, training and showing American Quarter Horses.

I am 19 years old and a full time honor student majoring in Business Administration at Truckee Meadow Community College.  I am looking forward to attending dental school and using my business degree to start my own practice.

Having grown up in a family that has roots that run deep in the agricultural business, I have learned the genuine spirit and value of rodeo.  It will be an honor to represent Nevada as an individual and an American.
